Edge 520 stuck on 'loading profiles'

Any help with fixing an Edge 520 stuck on 'Loading Profiles'; have tried a reset, factory reset, re-formatted the disk, all no good. Have seen identical posts before but no posting of the solution. Thanks.

Same thing happened to me, and this fixed the stuck on loading profiles problem:

Force to Mass Storage:

Power the device off
Press and hold the lap button while plugging into usb (with or without factory cable)
Wait 10 seconds and device should go to mass storage

I have the same problem today. I have tried to do above solution and not luck to turn on the device. Any help please. I lost my ride this morning.
