Interval Workout On Kickr Snap Shows Power Spikes

Hi,

I apologize in advance as this is not a pure Edge 520 Plus issue. I am following an interval workout created on Garmin Connect Mobile from my Edge 520 Plus paired with a Kickr Snap smart trainer. The workout has intervals where the goal is based on power zones and the Edge 520 Plus is correctly varying the Kickr Snap's resistance based on which interval I am in. But the resulting activity when saved show very bried massive power spikes at the beginning of higher power intervals, as high as 8000 watts or more, which obviously I am not capable of throwing down (I wish). The actual maximum power I think I exerted during those brief 20 second intervals was just anywhere from 400-500 watts I think based on where it settled down (yes I know very low FTP :-) ).

I would appreciate it if anyone who has knowledge of this and how to resolve it would share their experience. Is this a problem with the Kickr Snap or with how Garmin is interpreting the data being sent by the Kickr Snap?

I have opened an issue with Wahoo but they're saying to share a .fit file created using the Wahoo Fitness app itself, not via the Garmin Edge. I tried but that is less easy as the Wahoo app does not have support for created interval workouts, so I have been trying to manually manipulate the power in Erg mode as quickly as i can to try and get the same effect. So far after a couple of tries I haven't seen it.

Also in the Wahoo App the Snap has the option for "ERG Mode Power Smoothing" turned on.

Thanks.
