Hi, till some time ago (few weeks, can’t remember exactly) I had no issue when I connected my Edge 520 to my laptop to upload some .gpx files or a new .img map file. It started up and entered in mass storage mode.
Now this thing no longer works. It just starts up, but doesn’t go in mass storage mode, it just goes in charging mode. Hence it’s not seen by my computer, and I can’t upload anything.
I’ve tested with some other USB cables, but this doesn’t solve the issue. I successfully employ those cables with other devices to upload files to those devices, so I’m pretty confident it’s not a cable issue.
I’ve tried the procedure suggested here:

but it doesn’t solve either. With the LAP button pressed a connection icon is showed for some seconds, but then the Edge boots up normally and goes into basic charging mode.
I’ve also tried a factory reset, but again it was useless.
Now I’m basically stuck. I wrote Garmin support, but they have not answered yet. In a few days I’ll leave for Catalunia, so I do need to upload a new map file to my 520, and I have no clues. What can I do?
I have firmware version 12.60. Factory reset did not downgrade it.
