Unit of measure keeps going back to Statute!!

I have tried every suggestion posted other threads! Nothing is working! Please fix this! This is very frustrating.

It is Garmin Connect that is causing the issue.

I needed to change the units from the Garmin connect Web site from metric to statue. Then change it from statue to metric. Doing this fixed it for me.

I can confirm that the fix posted by af0002 works! Best guess is they changed some field names in either the app or the new firmware.

So to summarize the fix process:

Log in to Garmin Connect (website version, not the app)

Devices -> Device Settings

Change "Distance" to "Miles", save settings.

Change "Distance" to "Kilometers", save settings.

Restart your Garmin Connect App, restart your Garmin.

Thanks for the help on this - it has been frustrating me for sometime now. Only just checked the forums on the weekend and found this fix which worked.
