Calories not showing up in Strava

Hi , I have linked my new Garmin Edge 520 to Strava ( non- premium) , after my ride all data is being sent to Strava however my calorie count is not showing in Strava, any advice appreciated. Thanks
  • Strava does its own calorie estimate and ignores what the device says, so it might have something to do with non-premium or the lack of something (heart rate?) that it uses in its estimate.

I'm a Strava Premiun user and also face the same issue, no calories on Strava after syncing my indoor trainings from GC.
  • Strava computes calories from work done. Did Strava compute a power estimate for you on your indoor ride? If not, then that is why there are no calories.

Yes, I am able to sync the time, distance, speed, power and heart rate with Strava, but it's not showing the calories. As Garmin Connect is not on my Apple Health app source list so Strava is writing my activities on the Apple app, but without calories as well.

I was on Premium and did see calories, though can't be sure, as mainly checked calories via My Fitness Pal.
If you link your Strava to my fitness pal, the calories will show up in the fitness pal app.

There is a discrepancy on calories burned between Stava & Garmin. Which one is the accurate is anyone's guess, but its quite a significant difference, can be about 200 calorie difference when Garmin says 700 Strava will say high 400's. I just tend to stick with the Garmin reading and work my intake off of that.
