Edge 520 & Corrupt file removal

Anyone able to help with removing (deleting) a file I uploaded for a shelter charity 60 K. I am NOT able to remove the file.

100K_62.5mi ride (New Rest Stop_course.fit

The file was in my "courses" folder. I was able to move it to the Garmin root director with MAC.

However, it now has the following path:
I:Trashes\501\Trashes\501Courses\ 100K_62.5mi ride (New Rest Stop_course.fit

I've tried DOS tools that fail since the file's paths are incorrect.

I've done a 520 factory re-set as well without success.

Are you using a Mac? Attach the device to your computer like you normally would and then clear the Trash Bin.

Thanks Kiwimtnbbr, I have MS and MAC. I did delete on MAC and emptied trash bin. Disconnected Garmin...checked director and the darn file was still attached just NOT in the course folder.
