Can't get 520 to sync with connect. Was fine yesterday. Pulling my hair out!!

Afternoon all

Apologies if this is a simple problem, it's already been covered, or a combination of the two! I'm a bit cr@p at this stuff...

My garmin 520 and my iPhone don't seem to want to talk to eachother today. I went out for a ride this morning and there was no problem with the 520 linking with my etap. I didn't notice whether it had linked to the phone or not to be honest. Now I'm home and my ride hasn't uploaded to garmin connect. I've unpaired and paired my garmin to my phone with no problem, but on the 520 screen the Bluetooth symbol is flashing does this mean it's not finding garmin connect? The only thing that's changed since it worked yesterday was the fact the bike I road today has etap. I've not had this problem in the past.

I've just noticed in garmin connect settings it's saying my 520 isn't connected

    same as mine. cant sync thru mobile via garmin connect.
    btw my phone is huwaei p9
    its been a month already.

    try to turn airplane mode on and off.

    Same issue for me - on a Sony Xperia XZ. Worked on Tuesday, not today. Get's stuck "waiting for Bluetooth" even though it shows as connected on the phone.

    Have had to give up and use Express. It is very frustrating.
