After updating 7.10 don't store activities

Hi,

Finishing the activity when you store it, is faster tan normal and keeps not stored, and the activy desapears from the device. Either not possible to upload to Garmin Connect.

After updating versión 7.10, also disapeared the last 15 activities stored on the device from 5 de august to 28. Those 15 activities are still recorded on the Connect App.

Can someone help me?

    I have Garmin Connect setup to send to Strava and Training Peaks, and that works fine. However, although the data is passing through Garmin Connect, the ride itself is not shown in activities in Garmin Connect. This is being observed after the 7.1 firmware upgrade to my Edge 520. I cannot manually upload the .FIT file either. The progress indicator just spins. If I try to upload an old file then it says the file is already uploaded so something appears to be stuck somewhere. Using Garmin Express I get "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". This is even though the activity went from the Edge 520 through to Training Peaks and Strava (via Garmin Connect).

    When connected to a PC, do you see any FIT files in the Garmin/Activities folder on the 520?

    Yes I see all the FIT files regarding the activities from 15th May (my first ride with this device) until 5th August, no more.
    But from 6th August until 28th August I ride 16 times more and all those rides are stored in the Garmin Connect but not on the activities folder..
    Friday 2nd September I updated from version 6.30 to 7.10, and after this I ride Saturday and Sunday and the problem start.
    This 2 rides "stored" at he end of the ride extremely fast on the 520, but don't upload to Garmin connect. When you come back to the 520 to look for the activities recorded, you see that they are not in...

    Now to write this post accurately I just install Garmin Express in my office computer and I see a Popup that indicates me that the activity of 5th August (last stored now on the device) has a file type not compatible and I must delete manually directly on the device.

    Is it possible that updating to 7.10 this activity file become corrupted, and this trouble deleted all the 16 rides stored after this one, and keeps the 520 unable to store more activities?

    Something is corrupt. Maybe the system needs to be rebuilt. But some things to try.

    Deleting all the files from the activity folder. They should be stored on Garmin Connect but you could copy them to your pc to be safe.
