Does the Edge 520 work in Europe?

I'll be going to Europe for a few weeks and intend to ride there and wondered if the GPS works over there. Appreciate the help.

Yes it will work there.

Yes it will work in Europe. I live in the US and used my 520 in the UK in May with no problems.

GPS works all over the planet, except for areas where it is degraded by the US military for conflict reasons and it works less well near the poles due to the system design.

Why would you think it wouldn't?

The only problem you may run into will be relevant mapping, you don't say what you have currently? If you need mapping see here
