Sorry if I'm not sending it to the correct thread - I was trying Garmin's local technical support, but they went quiet. So I have Edge 520. It works fine, but after an update (I don't remember the number), recorded activity gets tagged with completely incorrect date, month and year. Say, yesterday I was riding in a distant future - 9th of March 2036. It seems all other data saves correctly. Yes, I can edit my activities using smth like GPS Track Editor, but this gets very frustrating. Since problem occurred there was several updates to Garmin Express, couple updated to the Edge 520 itself, I was updating Time Zone using Webupdater (recommended by Tech Support), made numerous soft and hard resets, but problem isn't going away. I'm two steps away from throwing device away and going back to my old Forerunner. Your help (or at least some idea what might help) will be greatly appreciated.
I had that happen once on one file a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure my 520 was on the latest firmware at that time. I'm sorry I can't be of any help as I'm not sure what caused it and it hasn't occurred since.
