Longer rubber bands for mount?

Hi,

Just replaced my Edge 500 with an 520, after smashing the display of the former in a mountain bike crash. Had, the 500 mounted in the handle bars, but now I'd like to mount the 520 on the top tube, directly below the headset. However, this is where top tube amd down tube come together, and the rubber bands included are way too short, even the longer ones.

Does anyone know a source for longer rubber bands with a strength/diameter similar to the original ones?

You can try joining a couple of bands together, by looping one through the other and then back through itself.

Great idea, thanks! Two long ones and one short one joined together did the job. :)
