what accuracy do you get?

Had a 520 for a week, just returned it as it kept freezing.

While i was using it though the accuracy was always around 25-30 feet, whereas a garmin 1000 i was using on the same ride to compare with gave a constant accuracy of 9-10 feet. Glonass enable on both. My old Twonav Ultra gps also gives an accuracy of 9-10 feet nearly all the time in this area.

Just wondered if i had a bad unit, or is the accuracy on the 520 not as good as some other units. Might try another one if mine was just a faulty unit.

I get 10ft inside with GLONOSS enabled.
  • Mine states it's within 12feet, but for the most part that's way wrong when looking at the map and the recorded route, it's usually riding between 30 and a 70feet beside the road i'm on.
But the main problem is that's its about 200feet "behind" when im doing 30kmph. If I stop it will catch up in about 5 sec to my stopping location (+\- the 30 to 70 feet it's generally off).

I find it's not very precise, and my iPhone is definately better and more "realtime" accurate.
