I would like to set up a new activity profile with the same data screens as an existing profile. The difference between the two will be in other settings (GPS mode, auto pause mode, etc.). Is there an easy way to do this without going through the very tedious task of selecting each data field on multiple pages?
Make a backup of the activity file you want to use as the source for the new profile from the Garmin\Sport folder on the Edge. Copy the profile to your PC. Next disconnect the Edge from the PC and using the UI on the Edge rename the profile you just backed up to the name of the new profile you want. Make any additional changes you wish to this new profile. Next reconnect the Edge back to the PC and copy the profile saved on the PC to the Garmin\NewFiles folder on the Edge.
When you next start-up the Edge you will have both the orgional and new profiles available to you.
