Overlapping Strava Live Segments

I don't yet own a 520, but will probably get one for Christmas.

What does the Live Segments function do in the case of overlapping segments? I can see two scenarios here.

1) Segment #2 is entirely inside segment #1
2) Segment #2 starts after you have started #1, but ends after the end of #1.

I was just anticipating what I might need to do with my 'starred' Strava segments. Thanks.

The Edge will start the first segment that it comes to that is enabled and will not start any other segments until it has either finished that segment or you cancel the execution of it.

In both the examples above the Edge will only execute segment 1.

Thank you, Alan. That is a sensible way to handle something inherently ambiguous like this.
