I've only had the device a few weeks, and it's been flawless up until now, but today, the screen just froze about 3/4 of the way through the ride -- very frustrating. I don't I changed anything -- any ideas what could be going on?
Buggy software, all Edges from 810 onwarts suffer from freezes and crashes. Garmin is working on it... on the 810 almost 3 years now so don't hold your breath.
Today during my ride, my Garmin Edge 520 shut down about 2 hours into my ride. I restarted it, but it shut right back down again. At the time, I thought that the battery must be dead, but when I got home it was charged to 87%.
I've read that something similar happens to other people. Has anyone tried turning off Auto Stop to see if that causes the problem? I can't think of anything else to try. Thanks for any input.
