Thank you to Garmin for fixing the numerous issues with the edge 520 with the 3.0 update, including the RWGPS issue.

One more thing please. Please make it possible to use the Strava Live segments WHILE following a course. the Strava segments are useless unless they work while following a course. Garmin was able to this with their "Garmin Segments" on the edge 810. Is is not safe to navigate the menus to stop the course, do the segment , then navigate more menus to get the course started again while going fast, on the road close to cars, or in group rides.

I don't know where else to get the developers attention so if you know where to post this please get their attention!

This is technically possible today, but it would really require Strava to build the course or someone else using the Strava API's to access the required segments.

You can follow a course and execute segments today provided that the segments are referenced in the course file. This requires that the course is built using FIT and that you know how to reference a segment.

This works today if you are using Garmin Segments and a course built on Garmin Connect. GC imbeds the reference to any segments that the course passes over and exports those segments to the Edge when it exports the course file.
