Weather on 520

Hi I recently bought a 520 which is great, but I'm not getting weather notifications. It is connected to my iphone, via the connect app with Bluetooth enabled. Edge 520, Connect App, and iphone software is upto date. Everything else seems to be working fine. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks
  • In your Garmin connect app. Go to "Devices"> "Edge 520" >"Device Settings" and make sure "Weather" is toggled on.

Also "BLE_Edge 520" needs to be paired to your iPhone for this to work.

  • Can't Find the Setting to Enable in Connect

For my 520, on the web version of Garmin Connect, the device settings available to me are: time format, date format and units. On the iPhone version of Garmin Connect (version 2.14 running on an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.0.1), with BLE_Edge 520 paired and connected, the settings available to me are (only): auto upload. What am I missing here? Is there a setting I need to turn on within my 520 that I've missed somewhere. The PDF of the manual references the existence of weather. I've seen screen shots. But, I can't seem to enable it. Where did go wrong?

p.s. Broadly speaking, I really, really like my 520. The forums, inevitably talk about lots of issues and problems. That's the point of the forums. But, I really like mine.
  • I had the same. Forgot the bluetooth devices, uninstalled the app, reinstalled, paired again, and the weather and alert settings showed up.
  • Unpair, Delete, Install, Pair, Bazinga

I followed vestergaard.rene's advice. That worked. The options now appear in Garmin Connect on my iPhone. Thanks.

    Weather notifications now works

Yeah thanks. After uninstalling app and forgetting Bluetooth, then reinstalling and reconnecting the weather notification is now available. Thanks.
