How to get rid of "ready to navigate" from map screen on 520

Hi all,

I want to display the map with a course selected but not have the "ready to navigate" message taking up the screen. This seems to be present no matter what I do. I tried going into the course settings and selecting "always display" instead of "riding" the course, but no difference. I am using a OSM map if that makes a difference. The thing is, I know it is possible, because it is shown here:

This came up on another thread. You need to go to Settings -> Activity Profile -> "profile you want to change" -> Map -> Guide Text

Change the value to "Never Display"

This feature alone would almost prompt me to give up my 510 and buy a 520. I assume it still displays the turn text when appropriate at the screen top but just gets rid of the stupid "go north" etc between turns
