Wheel size for speed sensor

I've had my Edge 25 for a while now, but I still can't use it on my turbo trainer because it seems that there are no straight bits of road anywhere nearby that are long enough so I STILL don't have a wheel size.

Is there any hope of a firmware update that allows wheel size to be set? If not then I think I'll have to return this device for a refund as it's clearly not fit for purpose.

Why Garmin? Why not offer the basic ability to manually enter a wheel size?

It doesn't calibrate wheel size ever, unlike other Edges the speed sensor is only used indoors and you are stuck- as you say with a nominal wheel size regardless.
Don't think there'll be any more firmware updates, 3.0 seems final.
I got mine as a present so I'll sell it on eBay, distance so inaccurate just using gps on twisty roads I have no use for it.
