Existing Strava route exported as GPX/TCX and then imported to Garmin Connect provide turn by turn prompts?

Does an existing Strava route exported as GPX or TCX provide turn by turn prompts if I import it to Garmin Connect and then send to my Edge 130? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. My 130's still on order, so I can't test it yet, but thought I'd ask as I get lost easily!

Do you know if a TCX export would be more likely to work as an export from Strava than GPX? As I've read that a TCX has more data?

If you have courses in Strava then you don't need to go through this process.

There is an integration that will push your stared/favorite courses from Strava to GC and they will automatically be down load to your Edge when you sync.

Now I've been able to test my new Edge 130, I've had the best results with a TCX export from Strava to give me turn by turn prompts.

A GPX export doesn't give me that info, just a final destination.

Unfortunately, my phone is too old for Garmin Connect! so I'm using Garmin Express to sync. When I upgrade my phone, I'll be able to integrate with Strava more easily.
