Edge 130 Plus?

Hi,

Unfortunately as much as I was unhappy with my Edge 130 because of battery life I still find it best smallest GPS device which fits my needs. Few days ago I broke my screen. Device is still functional but I cant see much

I was looking at Edge 530 but that is just too big. Anyone heard of Edge 130 Plus? Any info or speculations when it would be released?

It seems so. I saw post from another user asking Garmin support if PLUS version has better battery. They replied that it is the same battery as in non PLUS version. So they added features and had to shorten battery life to 12 hours. As well now operation temperature for PLUS is listed as 10 - 40 degrees, where for non PLUS version it is -20 - 60 degrees. So now people cant complain when battery wont last in 5 degrees 12 hours :D.

It is easier and cheaper to restrict the features rather than improve the project, pathetic but greedy for money. HW FR645 problems never solved, only fix SW.
