Edge 130 Plus?

Hi,

Unfortunately as much as I was unhappy with my Edge 130 because of battery life I still find it best smallest GPS device which fits my needs. Few days ago I broke my screen. Device is still functional but I cant see much

I was looking at Edge 530 but that is just too big. Anyone heard of Edge 130 Plus? Any info or speculations when it would be released?

Garmin.nl shows both the 130 Plus and the 1030 Plus. The links are still empty. They only show up the first time you visit the site, to get back to this page, to make this screenshot, I had to remove all cookies first. Funny, it looks like their website software quality control is on par with their firmware quality control ;) Unless this is intended leaking.

Unfortunatly, no trainning charge at all...maybe next firmwear?

Edge 130+ battery life is rated even shorter at 12hrs instead of the old 15hrs.

that is the reason I got 530 ... 130 just couldn't stay alive during cold winter rides, and now they shorten it by 3 hours ....

Does the Edge 130 plus have the new Sony GPS chipset? That should consume less power, right?

The new Ege 130 FW (3.70) also claims improved battery life when paired to a phone. I am curious what I can expect?

Anyway when I upgrade I will get an Edge 830.

If I wouldn't brake the one I had, I would just replace battery for larger one. There are posts around here how to do it and which battery would fit.

for the edge 130, I hope garmin to update battery indicator instead. for example maybe a warning "the battery is full" and it can be much more useful 1by1 percent actual battery indicator. edge130+ has a workout advantage there is nothing more
