Hello there,
I use Montana for navigating and Edge 130 as a display to show cadence, speed, HR and elevation.
I don't keep Montana on all the time, so it would be nice to use the Edge 130' ability to write GPS track and other ANT+ info (namely speed, cadence, HR and elevation).
Thing is, I don't know how much memory there is in Edge 130 and what happens when that memory overfills.
With Montana, I can use an external microSD card, plus it will archive the tracks automatically when it thinks the current track is bigger that Montana can afford.
But how much room does Edge 130 have for its tracks, and what happens when this room overfills?
Does it start overwriting it? What would be a reasonable interval to free up the memory?
I use an external USB battery so I don't take my Edge130 off my bike very often.
I don't use a smartphone when I ride my bicycle.
My typical ride length is 3 or 4 days.
Is there some kind of a recommendation as to how often one must free up internal memory?
The manual doesn't say a word on this.
