Auto pause issue

Yesterday I realized a strange "bug" in the software behavior:
I was biking between hills, and as there was no good GPS reception (even if both GPS+GALILEO were turned ON), the Edge 130 auto-pause was activated.
BUT
I was biking with SPD+CAD enabled, and my speed was above 20km/h and the CAD was also about 80RPM, but the Edge 130 was in auto-pause mode, until there was good GPS reception again.
I suppose, in case the speed from external sensor is not 0, then auto-pause does not have to be activated. Please consider it.
  • Speed from the sensor should take priority over the GPS speed. Could you post the FIT file for the activity?
  • All the speed data came from the speed sensor the unit did not use GPS data for speed. It looks like you are using the combined speed/cadence sensor that uses a wheel magnet. I would check the position of the magnet. It may not be in the optimal position and moved a little during the ride .

  • Thanks for checking. Yes, you are right, i have a combo sensor. I have already check the magnet positure, but I will recheck it. But I don't really think this is the problem. Because the autopause usually actavated always on the same place (there are two hills with a very narrow valley between them, and that is place where seems no GPS reception.)
  • According to the FIT file it only used the speed sensor for speed it never used the GPS for speed. Under ride settings try switching the GPS off and check that you are still getting speed. Is the wheel size manually set under the sensor option? If not try setting it to manual instead of automatic.
