I'm having trouble seeing the screen in bright sunlight. Wondered if there is a contrast or brightness setting
  • I was impressed on how clear the display is. Anyway looking around there is only a backlight setting.

I ride before sunrise and use the "Always-On" backlight setting in the "System" menu. Battery life seems to take a big hit though. I was down to 1/4th battery after only a 2 hour ride. Don't need much backlight to see in the dark, would be nice if it were less bright to conserve battery.

Same issue over here. Started with 80% Battery and was nearly to 0% after a 2,5 hours ride. Unbelievable. The Backlight is, what makes this display great because of contrast. Expected it will drain battery faster, but not that massively. It must be a bug. Even my Edge 1000 does not behave that and having always backlight on (but not full power).

Really? this screen is better in direct sunlight than any device i've ever seen. In fact - i didn't find the backlight made any difference at all in sunlight.

My Edge Touring was unreadable in direct sunlight even with backlight on. The 130 is way better than my old 200 or my wife's Lezyne
