Connecting 1030 and DuraAce FCR9200PX Power Meter

My 1030 will not connect to the power meter if I use the ANT Force Vector setting as suggested on the Shimano site https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/technologies/component/details/power-meter/setting.html step 5. ie. ANT = Force Vector and BLE = Cycling Power. However, if I change the ANT setting to Bicycle Power it connects, but then the Force Vector stats dont show. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thank you! Rob.

Force Vectors are not support by the ANT+ Power meter specification. They are a propriety BLE implementation by Shimano and need their CIQ app.

the whole shimano powermeter family is a joke, just watch a few review from power meter experts but at least expensive!

Thank you. Yeah, at best the site is misleading. I got the Force Vector app on my Garmin but I guess to get data you have to run both Eride and garmin and maybe Garmin picks up the data from eride or maybe it doesn’t. Weak product. Appreciate the help
