My Garmin Edge 1030 computer has been working great for years now. I was on a slow century ride the other day at about mile 87 when the Garmin started to shut itself off. I would turn it back on and even did the 10 second power button reboot. It would turn back on and then immediately shut off again. I still had 18% power and was not in power saving mode. My activity was still in progress and I was navigating a route. When I turned the Garmin back on, I was seeing horizontal lines on the screen. I have done all my required firmware updates.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what caused this and how to fix it?
