Edge 1030 plus will not power on

After sw update yesterday my edge 1030 plus will not power on. Tried to hold power button for 10 seconds, did not work, tried holding both lap/start buttons then power button, "GARMIN" flashes on screen, there is a beep and the unit is just stuck in this continuous cycle. only way to power off is to hold power button until the beeps stop and the screen fades away. happening to anyone else or any ideas welcome. Thanks.

Have you tried holding the power button down for more than 10 seconds? I've seen where it has to be held down for over 30 seconds.

Can you connect the Garmin to a computer? If so, see if there are any files in the New Files folder and if there are, delete them and try to power it up again.

Also tried to connect to my PC and just the same happens. Tried 10 second press and also longer. Exactly the same as not connected. Thanks
