Problem with displaying courses after changing the software to 12.2

Good morning everyone. After changing the firmware, there was a problem with the display of rates. If we make the course line visible, it is so thin and pale that it is almost invisible on the display. There is no color change. It is not possible to change the thickness of the line (it was never there anyway). As such, this option is now completely non-functional. Pity... I'm sorry for mistakes, but I use Google tranalator.

What theme are you using for the activity profile?

Some users on the 1030+ forum are reporting that they need to have the classic theme set.

Profile - Navigation - Maps - Mapthemes - set „classic“!

The line is not that thin at all, you can see it well. Color can be changed. On each theme of the map (classic / contrast / mtb).

I'm afraid there's been some mix-up here:
The opening post talks about "making the course visible".

1) making a course visible:
Course - setting - make course (always) visible:
This course line is not purple by default. The color can be selected. The line is very thin and badly visible. Always was!

2) loading a course:
This can be done with or without turn-by-turn guidance. The color of the course line is always purple/magenta - now with directional arrows. The line is thick and well visible. Always was!

mcinner1 wrote an explanation. From myself I will add that using the map in the contrast theme will make you see practically every set color of the course. If you want to use the original map theme, choose the contrasting color of the course, definitely not the target color for navigation, i.e. purple.
