  3. Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the Edge, and wait for the update to finish.

  • I thought the image I posted was similar to your issue, The response shown in the image is caused when panning the map whilst also navigating. Looks like I was mistaken making the comparison. . As you experiencing the blank portion of the image actually flickers too but not always

  • just upgraded from 12 to 12.14, no issues jet but in general the device becomes slower and slower to startup as well as when you zoom in during a ride on the map it cannot refresh. Are we now with all the new features we got over last years not at the end of the HW limitation and should we better go for the new 1030 Plus or does this device have the same slow bootup and zoom on the map. For the rest I am still pleased with my Edge 1030 Slight smile

  • I have this problem too.  It seems to be many sensors for me as the same issue occurs with my Garmin lights/radar and my HR strap.  The speed and cadence sensors seem to be OK but everything else regularly disconnects for a couple of seconds and then reconnects for a random amount of time.  Sometimes it becomes stable for a few minutes and at other times it loops through connects and disconnects every few seconds.  I've only seen this issue since upgrading to the 12.13 snd 12.14 betas, it wasn't happening at 12.0.

  • I had the same problems with sensors disconnect , more than this , I had an issue with HR and I kept the sensor in the back of my pocket , and I had connect disconnect over and over again

  • I am quite sure the sensor goes to sleep if it does not detect a hearth beat. So in your pocket the connection could not be reliable. It needs to be on your skin with good electrode contact to wake-up and transmit.

  • agree with you, but , for some reason, it was connecting and disconnecting, as it was not connected at all to the strap
