cannot connect Giant Power Pro to Garmin Edge 520 and Fenix 5

Hello,

I've got a Giant Propel with Giant Power Pro. I try to connect it to my Garmin Edge 520 and Fenix 5, but without succes.

I have connected the Power Pro to the RideLink app and have been able to upgrade the firmware of both the L and R to the latest version. The Power Pro is fully charged.

Both the Edge 520 and Fenix 5 do not see the Power Pro.... Restarting and upgrading my devices didn't help either...

What can be wrong???

Connecting my devices to a Stage Power Meter on my other bike goes without any problem.

Pairing over ANT dual sided systems should typically only show as a single device. One side is the controller (typically the left side) it then communicates with the other side.

Do you have to use some app to tell it to broadcast using ANT. I wondering if it is configured to use just BLE?

(almost) solved! I deleted all the sensor on my devices (Tacx, Stages). Although they were inactive / not connected, it blocked the connection to the Power Pro. Once deleted the Edge / Fenix found the Power Pro.

Next step: it sees the Power Pro as one sensor, not 2 (Left / Right) separate ones. Let's if that can be fixed.

Just made my first ride, the stats show me different readings for left and right power. Conclusion: one device connected but two readings (left and right) collected. So it seems to be working correctly!
