Does anyone know the Garmin method to calculate power curve ?

I have serveral activities but for unknow reasons for me, the power curve data, does not match what I record and I see when training.

Example 1: I have an activity (5 hours) in which during 2 hours the average power data is 230W, during this time I stop to human needs and eat a banana. Autopause is set so during this time the garmin goes to pause and when start again it restart correctly. At the end of the 2 hours I have 230 W for average power, but in the curve data it appears 210W. Does anyone knows if there is a maximun time for a pause for the Garmin to discard this segment and take other? My humble guess is that if the pause is longer than X time (let say 5 minutes, but I do not know...) then the segment is "broken or Split", so for the Garmin does not take the same value for the Lap I'm seeging in the screen.

Example 2: I have a 8 hours activity in which I do 8 laps of climbing to a mountain (1000m elevation each, objective almost everesting) and go back to the base. This takes about 1 hour up to the top and down to the base. On the base I stop (and Garmin go in Pause: Autopause is set on). This pauses takes about 5-7 minutes/each, and then continue. The Average power is 215W on the Garmin screen in total, for the 8 hours, but in the Power Curve Graph is shows and say 190W, so again much lower than the presented data.

1. Does anyone know the Garmin way of calculating Power Curve Graph?

2. Does anyone know if Garmin discard data based on the pauses time, or considers that if total pauses is greather than XXX time for YYY hours then considers that this is not a LAP?

I have a third example but in this for me is clear that Garmin discard the data for the LAPS and is if you stop and start activity whinin a LAP. In this case for me is clear that for the PowerCurve Garmin discard the LAP value (I tested several times), but with Autolap it seems that does not work as I expected either....

Can anyone help please?

Thanks and regards!!
