No Australia/New Zealand map updates

The maps on my 1030 are:

Garmin Cycle Map AUS/NZ 2019.20
Garmin DEM Map 2017.20
Garmin Geocode Map 2019.10

I never get prompted to install any map updates when I connect the 1030 to my PC and use GE to sync activities. Have Garmin given up on providing map updates for AUS/NZ users? Mind you, that wouldn't surprise me - in the six or so years that I've owned a 1000, Garmin have never provided a single AUS/NZ map update for it, and the maps that came with it were hiking maps that were not much use for cycling on roads.

Mines at 2020.20 for Australia / NewZealand and have been getting regular map updates.

If you buy the cycle map product there are no updates.

If you buy a unit with included maps then they will get updates when available.

The 1030 does have included maps, and they did get updated for the first 18 months or so that I owned it. It seems, from messages I read here, that US and European users are still getting map updates for the 1030, as their maps are 2020.xx, but Oceania users are left sucking on the hind tit as regards map updates.

The map on my 1030 is version 2019.20, and Garmin Express tells me that everything is up to date. Forcing a complete re-install of the map makes no difference - it downloads and re-installs 2019.20.

Mine is also on 2019.20 - NZ purchased 1030.

My Edge 1030 bought in Australia is still on 2019.20

I have noticed in the past that Garmin seems to stagger release the updates to units so maybe give it a day or two and try again.

I phoned Garmin support. Eventually they denied there was any 2020 Aus/NZ cycle map. They checked this forum (!) and spent a long time talking to someone more senior. They said the last Aus/NZ map was 2019.20 released late 2019 and that the next will be about the second quarter 2021. They had no idea why there was not a single update in 2020 and no idea why someone else had a 2020 map. We must be poor relatives down here.

Bizarre, mine did the update on Friday or Saturday morning via Garmin Express.
