How to turn off Auto Uploads

Is there anyway on the 1030 to turn off auto uploads from the device? I see the slider in device setting on Garmin connect. But every time I power the unit on and off it switches to auto upload. I record my cycling activities on my Felix 6 and use my 1030 as a backup and to display all the ride info so I can see it. Every time i finish the ride I get duplicates from the 1030 and the Fenix 6

That only stops auto uploads over WiFi. Not over syncing

This does not work for me, on the Edge: Connected Features > WiFi > Auto Upload - turn if off, rides still upload when I finish my indoor Zwift ride. I want to let Zwift upload to Strava and let Strava push it to Garmin - not have to delete two rides on Strava every time.

Anyone??

Yes, I’ve been getting double uploads too, also, when I started using tacx, having to delete one of the activities, what I ended up doing on the Garman, it’s just not save that activity, and then the upload just goes through tacx software

I'm guessing it is a bug. Normally when you have Auto Upload enabled, the ride is uploaded right after you finish and save it. What's happening to me is the ride gets uploaded the next time I turn on the Edge preparing for my next ride.. Very annoying!
