Creating a map from a past ride

Hi All,

After years of having a G530 I recently bought the 1030, I ride with several groups and often do complicated routes around the Test Valley and South Downs. I did a route with one group the other day and want to cycle it with another group. Rather that recreate in on the computer, it's already in my Garmin! I don't know it well enough to just go (well, I probably do and that's what we used to do before GPS) but can't I just recall a route and turn it into a map?

From the home screen:
-Navigation
-Courses
-Saved Courses
-Create new course (line on top)
-select the activity you want to ride
-give it a name
-Go!

I think the same can be achieved if you go History/Activities/Open an activity and there will be an option to ride it from there/ Result is the same.
