  • If you use Garmin segments I don't think you can do much. But very few people use those. People rather use the Strava Segment integration. On Strava you can report that somebody cheated on a segment

  • Garmin doesn't have a "flag" option like strava does. In most cases I've found it's not because people are blatantly cheating, but simply don't know how to properly use their Garmin. Finishing the activity but leaving the device running while driving off in their car.

  • Hello. Not sure if it was intentional.  But a 3 hour drive from wimborne to worthing... lol and a flight to Midlands. Lol.

Yes I understand strava does.  But think garmin is better.

Been tight in this current climate. Lol. Now you have to pay for things on strava. I find garmin has more features and people dont fully understand how to use them.

Sharing rides on the calander is awesome and been able to up load courses for members in your group just to download is much better than strava.

Do any of the garmin developers monitor these forums...

  • If you use the Garmin segments just to race agains yourself then sure they will do the job just fine, and you can create your own segments. It is if you want to use leaderboards and the likes that they are very limited. People abandoned them for the most part. But again if you want to race agains your own GC type of thing they sure work.

As if developers monitor the forums, not really. This is a user forum. I am sure there is Garmin staff looking at it, and we see comments from support people, but not developers. This is a forum for users amont themselves.
