Garmin Edge 1030. When navigating, can you display distance to destination?

The subject line says it all really. We tend to use Komoot and it would be really useful to see how far it is to our destination. Any help appreciated Ta.

Yes.

As far as I know, all the units do.

Note that the distance data has to be in the track file.

The data field for that, when you follow a couse, is "Distance to End". There is a bunch of similar datatield in the Course category.

Can you explain that in layman’s terms. Also how do I find and select that? Thanks.

You must know how to set a data field if not read your manual. But if you do then the type lf DataField you are looking for is in a category called Course if I recall, it not it is Navigation. There is also an appendix at the end of the user manual listing all possible data fields. There is literally a hundred of them.

Datafield group: „Navigation“
Datafield name: „Distance to destination“

Quick way to set a datafield:
open one of your datascreens on your Edge - tap on one of the fields and keep pressing until the datafield gets dark - select „Navigation“ - select „Distance to destination“
