I not seeing the usual reviews of new firmware. Anyone install Ver. 11 and have any issues?

Odd issue for me, used Strava IQ app to load a course, but Garmin wouldn’t let me shut down the device saying I have to close the IQ app first, no idea how that is supposed to work, I ended up having to…
One thing I learned my kids as soon as possible: always use the native language of a program. Translations are always odd or wrong, late, and/or create crashes. And using native language of the program…
Since the 1030 has a considerable amount of memory, why place your rides on the SD Card?
I teached that to my sons...(and now we only watch movies and so on in English, not our native language, portuguese)...
What trainer do you have ?
For what I know either it does not calibrate (ex Tacx Neo ) , either you have to perform an speen-down test in specific application
I'm using a Wahoo Kickr. Before v11, I could perform a spindown without issues. I've recorded a short video. Menu language is in German, but you can see when I tap on Calibrate, it does not load the spindown program, instead it goes to the powermeter calibration program and therfore waiting for something to happen.
Have a look at this video, it explains what's happening on the edge: www.youtube.com/watch
Maybe that way (why must it be by Garmin?):
I'm aware of that. But I'm not sure where the Calibration Data will be saved. If it's the trainer itself, then I can go that way as well.
With the new firmware I’ve discovered if you pul down on the screen to bring up the menus for weather, messages, etc it causes the 1030 to lose satellites
Mine also won’t shut down if using a course unless you hold down power button for 10 seconds, and I’ve already had a complete Garmin shut down while navigating a course
Also lost Radar connection 2 out of 4 rides so far.
Every firmware seems to make this unit worse, I haven’t had to deal with satellite drops since the 705 era 10 years ago
I am having the same issue. Plugging it into a PC seems to stop the ride too. I hope Garmin is working on a solution.
Segments seem completely broken. Instantly off segment at the start, never recovers, breaks navigation until you restart it.
Training calendar seems not syncing anymore. Annoying, when you have to remember or check on the mobile what’s today’s workout and start it manually.
Best regards, Jarek
