Is Bontrager 1030 still supported?

Noticed at first an increasing time between offering a regular and Bontrager firmware update, now there have been two betas for the regular with no updates to the Bontrager. Is the Bontrager becoming an orphan? Will there be a way to switch the firmware over to the regular version? I know that wasn't considered practical previously, but if there are going to be issues going forward with updates, seems like maybe an idea to revisit?

Thanks

  • Yes it is still supported. Typically Garmin only pushes the beta out for the 1030. I would expected to see a Bontrager build available when the 1030 has an official release.

  • Thanks. The reason I asked is because there has been a history of pushing out beta releases for the Bontrager version as well. That stopped a couple months ago, about the same time Trek stopped selling their version. Just concerned it wasn't a coincidence. :-)

    Thanks-
