time sms on screen

Vooraleer ik een sms kan lezen verdwijnt het al van mijn scherm. Kan ik de tijd dat sms op scherm staat verlengen?

Before I can read a text message it disappears from my screen. Can I extend the time that the SMS is on screen?

    Bonjour. J'ai le même problème que vous. Il faudrait pouvoir allonger la durée d'affichage ou bien le faire disparaitre une fois la réponse envoyée.

    There is no setting for that. However you can view the missed notifications when you swipe down from the tope, it is one of the widgets. Keep in mind the idea of the notification is just so you see quickly who sent you a message, it is not to read it while you ride. For that you should stop and pull out your phone. The notification is there to help you decide if you want to do that or just leave it for later. Focusing on a screen, any screen, while you ride, is totally unsafe. In my opinion the notification design is just fine, and if I didnt have a chance to read it it is because the road does not allow for it and I simply stop when it is safe to do so. Safety should be your priority. There are enough car drivers that put everybody at risk when they use their phone while driving.
