Corrupt totals.fit after upgrade to FW 10.0

Hi together,

seems, that my totals.fit is corrupt after the newest firmwareupgrade

It shows the correct dates on the edge but it is not possible to upload the file to kiesewetter.nl

After converting with the FitCSVTool, the csv-file looks a little corrupt.

Has anyone a correct file or can me tell the correct definitions of the file so i can change it?

Example of the Local number 2 definition:

I will export a totals-fixed-fixed.fit for you with fitfilerepairtool, but it seems there is a typo:

The sum of duration for all profiles is 6,128,702 seconds.
Your entry is 12,961,654 seconds. (All others…

csv content looks ok to me

you have German buchstaben in your profile name

I only use the first 4 profiles, but in the profiles 5 up to 10 are these curious signs.

And what should i do with the "unknown"?

can you please have a look at the files i added as zip.

They have the failures in it like unknown fields

I checked your file totals.fit with fitfilerepairtool . It opens without error-message.

Then I saved it. See picture and attached filfile:

Here the contend of the fixed-file:

Which attracts attention:
-Totals does not match the sum of the profiles. (Which however often happens...)
-There is a Profile "MTB GT" with no values.

What else comes to my mind:
I myself once had problems updating totals.fit. It turned out that the file system on my Edge was corrupt. It's worth running the tool "chkdsk /f :X" on a WIN-PC (X: is the drive letter of the Edge).

i changed from 810 to 1030 and therfore i had no ride with my MTB GT because i only use it in winter.

But i wan't to take over the rides an all other in the new totals.fit

The totals.fit file you have uploaded (zip) is marked for Edge 1030 and software 9.50 !

Does the "fixed" file work on your Edge now?

My old one was still working.

But i wasn't able to create a new one after converting to csv with the FitCSVTool.jar from the FitSDK 21.32.00, modifiy the values and try to convert back.

Getting following error message:

CSVReader.read(): Error on line 6 - Unknown field "unknown" in message "totals".
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: FIT encoding error.
at com.garmin.fit.csv.CSVTool.run(CSVTool.java:258)
at com.garmin.fit.csv.CSVTool.main(CSVTool.java:332)

I added the .csv with the changed values

3823.totals.zip

It seems, that kiesewetter.nl will not work from my office, so i will try it from home this evening

Otherwise i will buy the fitfiletool

My entry is wrong, i get a total of 6480782 if i add all durations

Ok, you're right!

Find enclosed the total-fixed-fixed.fit file (zip) created with fitfilerepairtool (which is worth each penny b.t.w.)
