corrupt .fit file

Is there a sports friend who wants to fix my corrupted .fit file?

There is no way to fix it with the recommended methods.

I'm very happy with the new file you gave me. Now I have back my route except the last 4K cooling down. But the hour before that was very important to…

hi,

your fit file contained only zero's from km 8.5 onwards

ran your file through Fit File Tools's section remover for you (without any removing)

check this file 1731.fitfiletools.zip

when you have done no other ride after this one there is hope albeit little

just maybe and with a lot of luck

stop all activity on your device by turning it off until you start a file recovery scan

with the use of a file recovery program and some luck one could find the rest of the fit file

you can post the result as you did with this fit file

I do now have a recovered file from my Garmin. I hope it will show more than the first 8,5K.

hi,

care to tell which recovery tool you used

removed the non ride data

ran your file through Fit File Tools's section remover for you (without any removing)

data ends at km 43
