Activity history


When I make an outing it does not appear in the history of my activities, it is empty, yet in the Activities folder of my 1030 the outings are good:?
  • If you have TrueUp activated I think the history is the result of a sync with the server. So make sure the Edge have properly synced via Connect Mobile App. 

  • TrueUp makes your activities visible on other Garmin devices. The one which were stored on the device itself should be visible in history without syncing.

    Question: You see no activity in history (empty) although activities are stored in /Garmin/Activities?

    Problems that could be the reason:
    -you have stored about 200 activities - that’s a limit where index-problems start to occur
    -the date of the stored activity is in the future - check date and time of stored activity
    -date and time of your Edge are in the past - check date and time of your Edge
    -something other is wrong with the stored activity fit file.

  • When true up is on the edge sync back a summary file after it uploaded the ride, a notification on the edge confirms that. The history may we’ll be on that one rather than the large recorded fIle. And indeed the edge as a 200 limit that it manages itself normally but that process is not error prone. I regularly just delete all recorded rides. They are in connect anyway.
