FTP Test issue. does not advance to step 2

Hello Team,

I have unsuccessfully tried to perform an FTP test using my Edge 1030 for several tries. I have power meter and HR monitor working OK, however, the test start with step one and the chronometer start showing the time and warming to key lap... I had spent from 25 to 80+ minutes but it had never moved to step 2...

Can someone advice please how to resolve, or even what "key lap" means?

I think you have to press the lap button in order to continue. Just a guess since I don't use the FTP test from Garmin.

It sounds like the first step is a warm up step that will continue until you press the lap key
