firmware 9.50 + Varia Radar

I noticed, that after update to 9.50, Varia Radar acts strangely. When it detects car, it shows dot on top (indicating that car is just behind me) at first second and then it start from bottom and moving up as car approaches. I have first generation of Radar and have had it for a few years now, and it never happened, so it must be caused be firmware 9.50. Anyone similar experience?

    I'm sure it is a 9.50 problem but it seems to work itself out after awhile. But, I should say that after the 9.50 update I had to do three hard resets to stabilize the 1030.

    I hate this change - it kind of makes sense in heavy city traffic but with slightly higher traffic I got used to count the number of beeps instead of looking on display so I knew that there is more than one or two cars...

    It is basically decreasing safety... IMAO Should be configurable for those who ride in city a lot and for others...
