firmware 9.50 + Varia Radar

I noticed, that after update to 9.50, Varia Radar acts strangely. When it detects car, it shows dot on top (indicating that car is just behind me) at first second and then it start from bottom and moving up as car approaches. I have first generation of Radar and have had it for a few years now, and it never happened, so it must be caused be firmware 9.50. Anyone similar experience?

    Yes I spotted that too. Thought I was imagining things. Might be worth you raising a bug request with Garmin support

    Confirming same. Plus more than usual disconnects.

    I contacted Garmin support, but it was useless. Support person on chat tried to convince me, that it is as it is supposed to work - sure I have had Radar for some time and dont know how it usually works :-(..... Maybe more people need to report it too, in order Garmin to take it more seriously. I can imagine situation, when It could lead to danger situation - eg getting alert, that car is just behind me when riding fast downhill further from road shoulder.

    over 4 support sessions over the past month, I was finally told that it is a bug with 9.5 software, but it did not seem that they were urgent to fix the issue.  ive been using the RTL with my watch for now, inconvenient but not as bad as no longer using it

    I even suspect that sound doesn't play on second or further card appearing behind me :(

    I belive that was part of a f/w update a while ago to avoid being swamped by alerts in heavy traffic. The Edge will alert you when it detects the first vehicle but won't issue another alert until all subsequent detections have cleared ie no vehicles shown on the display. It will then alert when the next vehicle is detected

    I was able to connect to the 510 radar on my 1030 after update.  But I cannot connect to the light. Also radar acting fishy

    I am considering to downgrade firmware to 9.10, but am affraid that it will update to fw 9.50 again. I searched the forum, if there is a way to prevent device from updating firmware, but did not find any solution. (perhaps disabling wifi and bluetooth connection would work, but its not worth it for me)

    I had my 515 set up to display the vehicles on the left side of the screen after the update the vehicles are showing up on the right side, i went to the radar sensor alerts and picked left but it won't change to left also I can't change the other radar alert settings either, anyone else seeing this?
