Has anyone changed the color of the track line in an activity?

Dear cyclists, I ask for your help. According to this new update 9.50, it looks like it would be possible to change the color of the line drawn as we go along.

In courses I know I can do this, but in one activity I have done everything and I have not been able to change. It is always light blue. Please.

    I tried it last weekend.

    I was able to change the color of the currently-recording activity.

    It does not change the color of saved activities.

    Last sentence: "It does change...", or "It does not change..." ?

    Stil not clear for me... it feels as logical that while changing the color of a live recording activity, the color of already saved activities will not change simultaneously.

    I understood you cannot change the color of saved activities, right? If you select one in order to convert it to a course, you can change the color of the course line in preview mode (shown permanently on the map or not). But once loaded and activated to ride as a course there is always one not adatable color - the narrow purple line with dark borders. If you have choosen to have navigation guidance (Turn-By-Turn), then an extra course line is calculated which is always a slightly broader magenta (not adaptable) line, in most cases situated under the native purple course line.

    From what I understand:
    You only can change the color of the thin "history" line of the current running activity. Until now this line was always cyan (light blue).
    You cannot change the color of the purple lines! (track or course to follow)

    Exactly. The thin line light blue always remains in that color, even if I access >> activity profiles >> Navigation >> Maps >> History line color, and select other available colors.

    I already selected white, red, black and even gray. But when you return to the map with activity going on, the line always remains light blue.

    It seems that this update has failed in this regard.

    Lucky you. Since I have Edge versions (800 - 1030) this is the first time I have a bug. Hehehe. I'll wait a few more days.

    Just testet on mine - during an activity with loaded track, without tbt guidance. Works immediately. Green when I returned to the map screen.

    This is what I would expect. The blue line is the currently recording activity, it has never been about saved activities. This change is all about while you record an activity. Why would you care about saved activities ? I never look at those on the Edge, I do it on the computer or my phone.

    Bonjour. Moi je suis comme vous, j'ai tout essayé . la couleur est magenta sur un parcours actif et la trace qui suit est toujours bleue même en mettant une autre couleur dans la ligne d'historique. je crois que ça ne marche pas

    Good evening! Exactly. When using a COURSE saved on the Edge, yes, it is possible to change the color of the track line. blue, pink, black or white. But an activity starting from zero, I can't.

    Those who use TOPO or Birdseye maps can suffer a lot to differentiate between the colors of the terrain and the route traveled.
