MTB GPX

Hi all,

I wanna ride GPX MTB tracks with my 1030.
When I import GPX and ride it I see to much on my screen.
Turn left in 20 meters e.t.c.on a MTB course this doesn't work, when you ride on the road its good.
I send some screenshots of my settings (In Dutch).
All warnings are off,
So what I want is import any GPX (MTB) and see only the track to follow and nothing else.
I hope someone can give my some tips how th achieve this...

Go to the screen where you can select your tours. Tap on the 3-lines button right/bottom. Disable Turn-Guidance.

Gonna try it today.

Saved courses, here I see all my courses, bottom right 3 lines, I chose Disable Turn-Guidance and also disabled course warnings

Hi mcinner1, yesterday I did a short MTB GPX with success!, only chart and GPXline. One more question, while navigating and passing routes I did before lot of lines off the route I did before where shown on my screen. Do you know where to turn these off so I only see the GPX I'm riding?

Hi Gaserop

check settings of yr saved ride(s)... enter each ride , select ride setting, uncheck "always on"...

Hi offenbacher54, I have only one course, the one I rode yesterday, now I unchecked "always on" and "coursepoints" for this ride, I will try tommorow, thanx!!

as you wrote " passing routes I did before lot of lines off the route..." I assumed those rides are stored and have been shown when riding in this region.

U can verify by selecting a specific colour for each ride u did - when "always on" is checked. so ride is always visible on the map.

In the course selection screen, open the menu options and disable Turn-by-Turn. The Edge won't calculate the pink like, won't give you directions, but will still display the magenta course line on the map. That's how I use it most of the time, even on the road.

You don't need to turn off "course points" (this is only relevant when using the course for navigation).

"Always on" is only takes effect when the course is NOT being used for navigation.

Just go into the course settings and select Always Display , course will now show on map screen without all the annoying guidance messages etc
