The rollout seems to have stalled at 10%.
Any ideas when it will continue?

You can now find the SW update in the 9.50 SW update sticky thread here: https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/edge-1030/226368/new-edge-1030-and-edge-1030-bontrager-version-9-50-now-avail…
Who would know... It is sadly in keeping with the normal standard of Garmin communication. Usually they get to 80% and then go home for the weekend - this time they got to 10% and just gave up. If I was…
The only reason anyone is downloading fake firmware (what kind of fake was it anyway?) is because Garmin were not allowing them to download the actual firmware. I've no problem with phased rollouts as…
That’s what I thought krazyeone, maybe am I doing something wrong then .
download to my computer, then the extracted file copied into Garmin directory ( or maybe it’s another path ?), plug off the Garmin from computer , switch off Garmin switch on and nothing happens.
any ideas?
Edge 1030 950.zip not bontrager (if you don t own that model)
Extract GUPDATE.GCD and copy to /Garmin Folder , Eject Garmin (from windows icon) , restart Garmin 1030 , then you should have Install prompt
if does not work , copy latest beta , then install it , then repeat the last step with 9.50 version
any ideas?
Make sure that you are copying the file into the Garmin folder of the device itself and not into the Garmin folder of the microSD card (if you have one.)
I installed it. Same lockup problem after the upgrade reboot as with versions 9.00-9.48.. (that issue has been reported by me, and additional logs were requested and provided in the case) I have to soft reset repeatedly for it to eventually come up, but after that, the radios were stable during a 40 mile ride yesterday.. Normally the sensors had been dropping once or twice, so I'm cautiously optimistic about that part at least.
@krazyeone - There was a fake one running around this last week.... Garmin is going to have to start doing either signed firmware to prevent that occurring casually, or always provide a manual download to stop people form producing fake firmware updates.
Yes, it worked great for me. Just copy the file to the Garmin directory.
Parfait, téléchargé, installé, je testerai demain. Merci beaucoup. bonne soirée
