The rollout seems to have stalled at 10%.
Any ideas when it will continue?

You can now find the SW update in the 9.50 SW update sticky thread here: https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/edge-1030/226368/new-edge-1030-and-edge-1030-bontrager-version-9-50-now-avail…

The only reason anyone is downloading fake firmware (what kind of fake was it anyway?) is because Garmin were not allowing them to download the actual firmware. I've no problem with phased rollouts as…

If I was really cruel I could say that the 10% deployment accurately reflects the portion of the software that usually works well; but I'll probably keep that opinion to myself
Look at the announcement post. New Edge 1030 and Edge 1030 Bontrager Version 9.50 Now Available

I don’t see a current update for today.
Somehow it is an normal process, but what I font understand, why they are not pushing newest fw to peoole that alreafy have beta
For example I had two crashes with 9.48, if they dod not solved and the bug still exist in 9.50...
Or maybe they screw up something bigger
I've been in IT since, well, before it was called IT. I don't have any specific information w/r/t the 9.50 update for the 1030, but generally if a rollout is paused after early deployments, you probably don't want to rush to be in that first group to get the update. Same goes for PC updates, phone updates, heck, even appliance updates if you have connected appliances. YMMV.
Does seem to indicate the reason for the phased rollout is to limit the blast radius if a major bug is discovered. I still think it makes sense to have a manual download option for early adopters who would typically test the betas as they're generally the more tech savvy users who would spot issues and feedback quickly.

Thank you. I downloaded ZIP extracted directly to GE Bontrager 1030 and install worked. Hope that fixes things. Glad to have fixed for the weekend.
